RED STONE

Red stone is often cited as not fitting into the northwest landscape, but it is indeed compatible next to a red house (contrasting with green and gray) and in locations where there are a lot of Madrona trees. I prefer to dry-lay my stone and do as little cutting as possible ... being certain to include strong sweeping lines into the pattern.
